And the hits just keep on coming....

The word is that the most embarrassingly painful bits of the Sarah Palin/Katie Couric interviews have not been released yet. Politico is now reporting that the only Supreme Court case she could discuss was Roe v. Wade. The site reported that there was no "verbal fumbling" like with other questions, but "rather silence".

I guess she didn't have time to learn this at any of the 6 colleges she attended in 6 years.

I wonder if she has actually read Roe v. Wade, or just knows the hype?

I've read Roe v. Wade. It's one of the worst legal decisions I've ever read. Even liberal judicial scholars do not call it a great opinion. Basically it's an opinion where they wanted a result and they twisted the Constitution beyond recognition to get that result.

I'm pretty sure Palin understands that FDR did not go on televsiion when the stock market crashed in 1929 to reassure the public. I think it would be hard for Palin to match that gaffe by Biden during his Couric interview.

Yeah, I've read it too. It's not important whether it's a good decision or not in this matter. It's just amazing that a potential VP cannot name significant decisions like Miranda v. Arizona or Brown v. Board of Education or why not even Bush v. Gore!

Biden's gaffe was silly, but we all know who he is. His record is well-known to Americans as he has been on the scene for years. He said something stupid as he occasionally does, but it is not in question whether or not that he is knowledgeable or not.

Palin is new. We know nothing about her, so these gaffes are very alarming.

I'm puzzled that she says so little about her time as governor. We've had the sound bites ("bridge to nowhere") but surely discussing the day to day parts of being governor would give us an idea of how she would handle the day to day bits of being VP?

She is the most frightening candidate since The Dead Zone.

Oh, and speaking of frightening, happy birthday early! :)
