And the hits just keep on coming...

I haven't blogged much about the Plame Affair because I figured it would all be swept under the rug, but this is definitely getting interesting.

Report: Cheney named in CIA leak probe

NEW YORK (AP) -- Notes in the hand of a federal prosecutor suggest the chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney first heard of the covert CIA officer central to a leak investigation from Cheney himself, The New York Times reported.

The newspaper said notes of a previously undisclosed June 12, 2003, conversation between I. Lewis Libby and Cheney appear to differ from Libby's grand jury testimony that he first heard of Valerie Plame from journalists.

Every once in awhile, I flip on talk radio just to hear what the blowhard conservative pundits are saying. It's so funny to listen to all of them lambasting the doofus-in-chief for his policies and his advisors when my patriotism has been questioned for doing same thing. Hypocrisy is fun, eh?

I love finding other Hoosier bloggers!
Nice to make your aquaintance.......;)

I am not sure what will come of the Plame Leak. It will be an interesting week in political history. Oh what'd I'd give to be a fly on the wall of the Oval office. I wonder if conservatives will be as outraged as I was about Clinton. As a Democrat I was furious about Clinton's trist with Lewinsky as it put our national security at risk. I have been following the story about the CIA leak since Wilson's much publicised criticism of the government. My reasons for protecting CIA employees is not only for political purposes but also for personal reasons. I know just how sensitve everything they do at the CIA is. Even an analyst is at risk. All I know is that if I had family with the agency I would not want anyone discussing my family members work with the media. POOH POOH say conservatives.....Plame was just an analyst. Ding dong. Anyone home. Analysts research and report on the weaponry of other nations. Their work is extremely sensitive and divulging any info on what we know about another nations weapons is a huge national security risk not only jeopardising our analysts but our nation. Only people who don't give a flip about the security of our nation would POOH POOH this investigation.

best wishes marie

Hi, Marie. Thank you for stopping by. I was never really upset with Clinton as for national security. Of course, I thought it was irresponsible to have an affair in the white house and then lie about it. Really though, I think it was the only thing that stuck after a long witchhunt.

On the other hand, we've had 2000 dead Americans and over a 100,000 dead Iraqis over this yellow cake fiasco (or possible just outright lie).

Anyway, thanks for stopping by, I hope to see you again.
