Cheney to visit Indianapolis
The Vice-President has a 18 percent approval rating and they have the nerve to charge the following rates for an audience with Cheney: Tickets to attend both the roundtable and luncheon are $10,000 per couple. Tickets for the luncheon and a photo with Cheney are $1,000 per person and tickets for only the luncheon are $250 per person
I don't think they'll be lined up around the block to meet him.
In other news: Former presidential candidate and Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean today blasted an Indiana law requiring a photo ID to vote, saying it is part of a national GOP effort to disenfranchise the poor and elderly.

Wow, Cheney's actually going to a disclosed location? Big stretch for him.
Three cheers for Howard Dean!
Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!
I think Dick should come down on the price.
I wonder what the Secret Service would do if I showed up wearing a flourescent orange hunting outfit.
Hope he and Mitch go hunting!
Jim, they probably wouldn't let you within two blocks of the circle if you wear blaze orange.
G, I think a lot of people do.
Apparently, he'll be here around tomorrow lunchtime. Unfortunately, I have to work.
Jim, was that you I saw downtown? There was a guy in front of the Chase Building on Monument Circle wearing an orange hunting vest with a bullseye on the back!
Damn Veep, his motorcade delayed my arrival at lunch by about 5 minutes. When Jason is hungry, he needs fed RIGHT NOW!
Torp,
It was reported tonite at the 3rd District Dems dinner, which I had the priviledge to attend, that Cheney was snuck in the back door of the downtown venue in Indy as were the "guests". In addition, absolutely no reporters were allowed to ask questions.
So it has come down to this:
Dick gets stuffed in the back door. Isn't that what we've all endured from this administration for the last 6 years? How "fitting"!
John,
I heard that on the radio. It was quite a surgical strike. I wonder how many people paid?
The bigger question is probably not "how many" but "why". I just want to shake people sometimes.
