Brian Bosma, you have been warned. Judge David Hamilton denied the request to amend his ruling on prayer in the statehouse. He also issued this warning:
"If the speaker or those offering prayers seek to evade the injunction through indirect but well understood expressions of specifically Christian beliefs, the audience, the public, and the court will be able to see what is happening. In that unlikely event, the court will be able to take appropriate measures to enforce" the injunction.
Bosma has said that, if necessary, he will take his fight against Hamilton's ban on sectarian prayer to the Supreme Court.

I'm shocked, shocked that the request to reconsider was denied.
Bosma is such a hack, I swear to God. I have a dozen rants on the subject.
I'm secretly hoping that Bosma does take this further up the line. I think (hope!) that it might #1 teach him a lesson and #2 make people thinks about minority vs. majority vs. what Bosma thinks is the majority but isn't
Remember: first Jewish community founded in Rhode Island in 1654, long before Bosma's ancestors arrived.
What I don't understand is why these lawmakers don't offer up praise to the founder of their true religion — Hammurabism.
After all, that's the religion they all believe in and practice.
Then, the scientists and mathematicians could chime in and point out how Hammurabism is a false religion, based on an axiomatic assumption that is patently disprovable by a minimally educated first-year math student.

Well, duh. If the lawyers and judges admitted to practising Hammurabism, the minimally educated math students would flood the courtrooms and impress everyone to death with their fancy equations that extract desire and competitiveness from the human heart.

His model begins with Desire and mutliplies it through the mechanism of Mimesis.
Mimetic Desire is the primary producer of competing desires.
And the original desire, according to the Character Model of Drama Theory, is the inverse of original dread.
Since everyone has an amygdala and a hippocampus, everyone has a fear processor and fear memory at the core of their brain. Our desires (what we value) are the reciprocal of our dreads (what we disvalue).
What people in power do is seek to outlaw and punish their idiosyncratic dreads, to the exclusion of the idiosyncratic dreads of others in the society.
The War on Terror is an idiotic attempt to eradicate fear. If we really wanted to eradicate fear, we'd simply rip out our Amygdalas and be done with it.
