Greetings from IndySalsero, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the blog shoutout. Let's infuse a little Latin culture into Indianapolis. There is more to life in Indy then the Colts, really!!!

Keep blogging.

There was a story today on BBC Radio about dancing.

Researchers have found that dance is central to the mating process, and allows would-be mates to find partners with the best genes.

The best dancers are those whose spines undulate in the most graceful fashion, without any lopsidedness or jerkiness.

Such dancers have achieved the highest order of functionality in the motor control systems that manage their acrobatic terpsichore. In terms of cybernetics, that means they've evolved beyond both zeroeth order motor control structures (rule-driven) and first order motor control structures (linear proportional motion) to achieve at least second-order regulatory structures (fluid grace).

I am guilty of choppy spinal undulations. I am not very good at it. If I am happy I dance alone where no one else can laugh at me.

Oh please, the only thing that matters in dancing is man's ability to lead and woman's ability to feel along and follow. It makes no problem for a feminine woman and a masculine man. All teh crazy spinning is merely the question of practice. BTW, believe me or not, it can be seen if you are a good partner before even you start to dance. To say nothing of the evidence of correlation between how does the couple dance and what's sex gonna be.

BTW, you shouldn't have said this thing about you dancing alone when nobody can laugh at you. I actually have very vivid imagination and it cracks me up. You know. I'll try to fall asleep tonight without starting to laugh suddenly. If I don't succeed, watch out.

Choppy motor control whilst dancing suggests that you are operating at the level of zeroeth order motor control, which is what one would expect of someone who is grounded in rule-based paradigms.

If you practice those robotic moves where you move your limbs in a straight line at constant speed, you'll be working at first-order (linear) motor control.

Then, when you add in higher order terms to the motor control to achieve graceful fluidity, you will have advanced to higher functionality.

Then, if you think about government regulations, you will have a model for zeroeth order regulation (jerky rules), linear regulation (uniform price-mediated regulation), and advanced divinity (graceful response function).

And I will be lying awake all night wondering who "anonymous" is.

it cracks me up

We both know who uses that expression.

And if you don't believe me, check your sitemeter logs for a domain associated with Frachtwagens von Kauderwelsch.
