Halfway through the aughts?
We're halfway through this decade and we still do not have a name for it. It used to be so easy--the 80s, the 90s, but what now? I haven't really heard many people use the term "aughts", which apparently is what was used one hundred years ago. We'd better choose a name now as it's too important of a decision to leave to VH-1.

there is a horrible saying over here calling it the naughties, I say just call it George and be done with it
I like the o-os, good idea. I fear that pop culture will opt for something awful, such as the zeros.

I like "the zeds". Very British.
Yeah! The zeds! Though... I am guilty of liking "the naughties."
Everyone is just using British=ultimately stylish.
