I wrote a long, hopeful column about how Indiana had changed, how Obama might have a chance. Then reality sets in when I read a comment like to one you just posted. Alas, the overall thinking in Indiana is still, literally, founded in the middle ages. I wish the rapture would come and whisk these folks away…they might be surprised where they end up.
