Feeling blue
It's a year too late, but most of the US is looking blue. Apparently, George W. Bush will have to marry Karl Rove in a courthouse in Massachusetts before voters in Utah and Idaho will desert him.

It is interesting that the rating in Louisiana is still so high, considering his response to Katrina. Seemingly, this is one of the issues that have soured the rest of the American people on him. But, then again, I think the rating in Texas seems low.
There aren't enough dis-words in English to capture my sentiments about Bush in particular and government in general.
Disapproval, disdain, disappointment, dismay, disgust, dyspepsia, dysthymia, dispirited.
Government is hopelessly dysfunctional, for reasons that cannot be explained without delving into graduate level studies in Chaos Theory.
I like the idea of Bush and Rove getting married.
Gosh, now I have to think of an appropriate gift....
They don't know any better. They are our "special" states.
