Gone for a few days
I am off to the Wisconsin Dells for a bachelor party. Your inner voice may be asking 'why would anyone choose to go to Wisconsin during the first week of March for a bachelor party?'. Well, I am wondering that too. I would much rather be headed south, but I guess it's not about me.

Let us know if Polar Bear swimming is a part of the festivities.
I'm guessing it has to do with the booze. Those Wisconsin folks sure know their way around a beer.
The Wisconsin Dells? In winter?

Everyone is getting married
Gotcha beat. Of course my wife's a Badger so that explains it. We went the first week of January, 2004 when it was 0 here and -10 there. . (shudder)
Tip from yer ol' Uncle John, marry someone from a WARM state. ;)
You guys getting drunk on one of those duck boat tours? I can see it now - a couple cases of Rheinlander longnecks, a stripper from the local country shake shack, and lots and lots of cheese. Sounds like a plan.
I'd understand if you were using it as a front to get close to the Canadian border *wink, wink*.
Something tells me that plenty of Leinenkugel will be consumed...
I am back and yes I did drink some Leininkugel's. Yeah, it was cold. Some guys went snowboarding, but I pulled a muscle in my back so I sat out. There was a casino and one of those bars that bachelor parties tend to end up at.
The Dells reminded me of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge or even Niagara Falls as one of those places where you go for a cheap family summer vacation.
I missed out on the duckboats. I am not sure if it was the right season.
